Softball:  Four Raiders Earn All-OAC Honors; Morgan Riley Named Rookie of the Year

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio -- Mount Union had four players named All-Ohio Athletic Conference Softball and the Rookie of the Year as selected by the conference's 10 head coaches.

Senior catcher Logan Lehman (Orrville/Orrville), juniors in center fielder Brittany Baitt (Painesville/Riverside) and designated player Jessica Calhoun (Brunswick/Brunswick) eached earned All-OAC First Team honors

Freshman pitcher Hannah Reusser (Minerva/Minerva) was an All-OAC honorable mention selection while freshman infielder Morgan Riley (Charleoi, Pa./Charleoi) was named OAC Rookie of the Year.

Lehman, a three-time all-conference selection, has appeared in 37 games with a .412 batting average with 13 runs, 34 runs batted in and leads the team with six home runs, 13 doubles and one triple.

Baitt, a two-time all-conference pick, played in every game and leads the team in stolen bases (19) and triples (7). She also has a .357 batting average with 25 RBI, 30 runs, five doubles and three home runs.

Calhoun has been in 36 games, hit .355 with 21 RBI, eight doubles, one triple, 26 runs and one home run.

Reusser has an 11-8 record in 118.2 innings pitched with a 3.71 earned run average and 54 strikeouts. 

Riley has played in every game and leads the team and conference with 38 runs batted in. She is hitting .388 with five home runs, eight doubles and 28 runs scored.

Mount Union is 18-21-1 on the season and has made the four-team OAC Tournament for the first time since 2013.
