D3Hoops.com Names Wiedt to Women's All-Region Team

ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union junior guard Kori Wiedt (North Olmsted/North Olmsted) was named to the D3Hoops.com All-Great Lakes Region Third Team.

Wiedt, who was also honored on the All-Ohio Athletic Conference First Team, led the Raiders in points per game (12.4) while ranking second on the squad in steals (1.3) and 3-point field goal percentage (.399).

Mount Union (26-4) won the OAC Tournament and regular season titles to advance to the NCAA Tournament. It defeated Wisconsin-Whitewater, 69-55, before falling in the second round to Thomas More (Ky.), 76-63.
