Women's Basketball: Bova Earns WBCA All-America Honors

ATLANTA, Ga. -- Mount Union senior Annie Bova (Parma Heights/Beaumont) has been recognized as an NCAA Division III All-America Honorable Mention selection by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) .

Bova is the fifth Mount Union women's basketball player ever to earn WBCA All-American honors and first since Rosa LaMattina in 2013. 

Bova was named Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the year as she led Mount Union and was second in the conference in scoring at 18.9 pointer per game. She earned OAC Tournmanet MVP honors leading the Purple Raiders to a 20-7 record, the OAC Tournament title and berth in the NCAA Tournament. 

Bova also earned D3hoops.com 2016 women's All-Great Lakes Region first team honors.
