AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Senior Tori Rappach (Warren / Howland) was named Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week (11/18).
This is Rappach's first player of the week selection after leading the Raiders to three straight victories against Ohio Wesleyan, Oberlin, and Wooster.
Against Ohio Wesleyan, Rappach scored 27 points, with five three-pointers, shooting 60 percent from field and 50 percent from the three-point line. She also went four-for-five from the foul line.
Against Oberlin, Rappach recorded 14 points with a 45 percent shooting percentage from the field and 50 percent from three.
Against Wooster, Rappach tallied eight three pointers, going eight-for-ten from the three point line. She went two-for-two from the foul line, totalling 26 points in 24 minutes.
Rappach was named MVP of the Nan Nichols Classic after her performance against Oberlin and Wooster.
On the season, Rappach is averaging 22.3 points per game, shooting 61.1 percent from the field and 60.7 percent from three.
Mount Union remains undefeated, 3-0, and next hosts Juniata (Pa.) in the M-Club Tournament at the McPhearson Academic and Athletic Complex at 6 p.m.
