Women's Basketball: Rauhe Named OAC Player of the Week

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Mount Union junior Elena Rauhe (Seven Hills / Padua Franciscan) earned Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week (2/17)

This is Rauhe's first OAC Player of the Week selection after leading the Purple Raiders (14-9, 8-8 OAC) to a 2-0 week averaging 27 points per game shooting 48.6 percent from the field. 

Against Marietta, Rauhe scored a career-high 37 points, third highest in school history, shooting 10-23 from the floor. She also recorded a career-high four steals and added six rebounds in the 82-75 victory.

In the win over Heidelberg, Rauhe contributed with 17 points, shooting 58.3 percent from the floor. 

Mount Union closes regular season play traveling to Berea, Ohio to take on Baldwin Wallace Wednesday, Feb 19. at 7 p.m. and then hosts Capital Saturday, Feb. 22 at 3 p.m.
