Snode Medalist at Westminster Invite; Women's Golf Places Second

Mary Snode has won three tournaments in her career in Pennsylvania.

(NEW CASTLE, PA)--Mount Union sophomore Mary Snode (Alliance/Marlington) shot an 85 to win Medalist honors and lead the Purple Raiders to a second place finish at the Westminster/Mary Cleland Eckles Women's Golf Tournament at New Castle C.C. in New Castle, PA.

For Snode it was her second tournament win of the year and second in the Keystone State as she won the Grove City Invitational this past fall.

Mount Union had a 384 team total as along with Snode, junior Meghan McInnes (Massillon/Massillon Jackson) finished in fifth place with a 92, fellow junior Erica Swanger (Shelby/Shelby) was in 15th place with a 102 and freshman Alyssa King (Twinsburg/Twinsburg) tied for 18th place with a 105.

The Raiders and Grove City (PA) tied for second and were 23 strokes behind tournament winner Malone (361).
