Snode is Medalist as Women's Golf Places Fourth at Tannenhauf

ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union's Mary Snode earned medalist honors as the Purple Raider women's golf team finished fourth out of nine teams in the Mount Union Spring Invitational at Tannenhauf Golf Course.

Snode carded a two-day total of 157 (76-81), which left her at 13-over-par for the contest. The field included 49 golfers.

Teammate Megan Zenobi finished third with a 165 (81-84). Erica Swanger tied for 18th with a 183 (93-90).

The Purple Raiders' team score was 699 (349-350), which positioned them behind team champion Baldwin-Wallace (679), Otterbein (691) and Mercyhurst, Pa. (695).

The Mount Union women will return to competition on Monday, April 4, at the Westminster (Pa.) Invitational in New Castle, Pa.
