Women's Golf Places Seventh at Capital Invite

LOCKBOURNE, Ohio -- The Mount Union women's golf team placed seventh out of 12 teams at the Capital Purple and White Invitational at Foxfire Golf Club over the weekend.

Mary Snode (Alliance/Marlington) was the top Purple Raider golfer, tying for 10th with a two-day total of 167 (82-85).

Kelly Slutz tied for 26th with a 183 (90-93) and Megan Zenobi placed 34th with a 188 (97-91).

Mount Union's team score was 766 (390-376).

Bethel (Ind.) won the team crown with a 634 score, led by medalist Kaelyn Lingenfelter's 158 (77-81).
