Women's Golf Fifth After Day One at Otterbein Invitational

WESTERVILLE, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's golf team stands in fifth place after the first day of the Otterbein Invitational Saturday at Little Turtle Country Club in Westerville, Ohio.

The Purple Raiders carded a team score of 369 which leaves them 26 shots back of four place Ohio Northern (343).  Allegheny (Pa.) leads the event with a score of 332 which is two shots clear of second place Ohio Dominican (334) with tournament host Otterbein in third place with a score of 341.

Mary Snode (Alliance/Marlington) is tied for 10th overall and leads Mount Union as she fired an 86.

Megan Zenobi (Novelty/West Geagua) had an 88, Kelly Slutz (Orrville/Smithville) had a 94 and Erica Swanger (Shelby/Shelby) a 101 to round out the team scoring.

The tournament wraps up Sunday with 18 holes at New Albany Links in New Albany, Ohio.
