Snode Leads After Day One of OAC Women's Golf Championship; Raiders in Third

ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union junior Mary Snode (Alliance/Marlington) is tied for the lead after day one of the 2011 Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championships at Tannenhauf Golf Club in Alliance.

Snode carded an eight over par 80 and is tied with Ohio Northern's Emily Gedert with 10 players within six shots of the lead.

Defending champion Otterbein leads the event with a team score of 331, Ohio Northern is nine shots back in second with a 342 while Mount Union and Baldwin-Wallace are tied for third 17 shots behind (348).

The tournament wraps up with 18 holes on Sunday.
