Women's Golf: Raiders Finish Fifth at Mount Union Spring Invite

ALLIANCE, Ohio - - Mount Union's women's golf team finished the fifth at the Mount Union Spring Invitational Saturday at Tannenhauf Golf Club in Alliance. 

The Purple Raiders totaled 376 strokes on the 6,145 yard par 72 layout. 

Sophomore Amber Bruno (Struthers/Cardinal Mooney) led all Mount Union players as she shot an 87. Sophomore Lexi Scala (Aliquippa, Pa./Central Valley) was not far behind Bruno, as she shot an 89 on her round. 

Wittenberg won the 18-hole event after totaling 326 strokes, which was 10 strokes ahead of second place Baldwin Wallace (336). 

Caroline Wong of Wittenberg earned Medalist honors as she carded a 78.
