Women's Golf: Mount Union Finishes Day One Of John Carroll Invitational In Third Place

HUDSON, Ohio – The Mount Union women's golf team finished day one of the John Carroll Invitational in third place.

The Purple Raiders finished day one with an overall score of 359, 15 strokes behind second place Allegheny.

Mount Union was led by junior Morgan Rector (Trafford, Pa./Penn Trafford) who shot an 86 which was tied for fifth place.

Also finishing inside the top ten for Mount Union was freshman Ellie Chaddock (Minerva/Minerva) who finished in seventh place with an 85 and sophomore Olivia DeMartino (Canfield/Canfield) finished tied for eighth with an 86.

The John Carroll Invitational will continue with round two on Monday, September 21st.
