HUDSON, Ohio – The Mount Union women's golf team finished day one of the John Carroll Invitational in second place.
The Purple Raiders finished day one with an overall score of 339, 15 strokes behind first place St. Francis.
Mount Union was led by sophomore Erica Mawhorr (Zanesville/West Muskingum) who shot a 79 which was tied for first place.
Also finishing inside the top 15 for Mount Union was sophomore Jackie Capuano (Massillon/Massillon Jackson) who finished tied for seventh place and junior Allison Pastor (Sagamore Hills/Nordonia) finished tied for 15th.
