
LAGRANGE, Ohio- The Mount Union women's golf team finished day one of the Baldwin Wallace Invitational in second place.
The Purple Raiders finished day one with an overall score of 345, 30 strokes behind first place team Denison University.
Mount Union was led by sophomore Erica Mawhorr (Zanesville/West Muskingum) who shot a 79 which put her in second place. Also finishing inside the top 10 was senior Morgan Rector (Trafford, Pa./Penn Trafford) who shot an 84 and finished in ninth place.
The Baldwin Wallace Invitational will continue with round two on Sunday, Oct. 2nd
