
LAGRANGE, Ohio- The Mount Union women's golf team finished the Baldwin Wallace Invitational in second place.
The Purple Raiders finished day two with an overall score of 350 and a final score of 695, five strokes ahead of second place teams Wooster and Allegheny who tied for third.
Denison University won the invitational with an overall score of 644.
Mount Union was led by sophomore Erica Mawhorr (Zanesville/West Muskingum) who shot an 89 on day two which put her in eighth place. Senior Morgan Rector (Trafford, Pa./Penn Trafford) shot an 86 and finished tied for tenth place.
The Raiders will next compete at the W&J Fall Invitational Sunday, October 9th and Monday, October 10th at Southpointe G.C. In Canonsburg, Pa.
