Women's Golf: Raiders Finish Day One of Mount Union Spring Invitational in First Place

ALLIANCE, Ohio- Mount Union women's golf team finished day one of the Mount Union Spring Invitational in first place at the Tannenhauf Golf Course in Alliance, Ohio.

The Purple Raiders finished day one with an overall score of 337 which was 28 strokes ahead of second place Malone University with an overall score of 365.

Mount Union was led by Morgan Rector (Trafford, Pa./Penn Trafford) who is also in first place, with a score of 79 and Olivia DeMartino (Canfield/Canfield) who is in second place with a score of 82.

Also in the top 10 are Rachel Markle (Solon/Solon) who is tied for fifth with a score of 87 and Jackie Capuano (Massillon/Massillon Jackson) who is in eighth place with a score of 89.

The Mount Union Spring Invitational will finish with round two tomorrow, Sunday April 2 with a shotgun start at 10:00 AM.
