Women's Golf: Mount Union Remains in First Place After Second Day of OAC Championships

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's golf team stays in first place after the second day of the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships.  

The Purple Raiders carded a second round team score of 339 which is an overall score of 681. Second place team Otterbein also shot a second round team score of 339 but Mount Union is three strokes in front of them as the Cardinals posted an overall score of 684.

Erica Mawhorr (Zanesville/West Muskingum) still leads Mount Union as she stays in second place with a second round score of 82 and an overall score of 165. Morgan Rector (Trafford, Pa./Penn Trafford) is tied for third with an overall score of 169.

Other Raiders placed are, Olivia DeMartino (Canfield/Canfield) is in sixth place with an overall score of 172, Allison Pastor (Sagamore Hills/Nordonia) is tied for eighth with a score of 175 while Rachel Markle (Solon/Solon) is tied for 24th with a 186.

The women's golf team finishes the OAC Tournament with one more round at River Greens Golf Course.
