Women's Golf: Mount Union Holds the Lead After Day One at the Baldwin Wallace Invite

COLUMBIA STATION, Ohio -- The Mount Union Women's golf team holds a 12-shot lead over second place Capital after day one of the Yellow Jacket Invitational at Mallard Creek Golf club. 

Mount Union shot a team total score of 347 which was led by senior Allison Pastor (Nordonia / Sagamore Hills) who was the day one leader shooting an 85. 

Behind Allison was fellow senior, Olivia DeMartino (Canfield Canfield) who shot an 86 which was second overall followed by another senior, Hannah Edwards (Beaver Local l Wellsville) and sophomore Rachel Markle (Solon / Solon), both shooting an 88. Rounding out the top five for the Raiders was sophomore Morgan Stubbendieck (Hoban / Akron) shooting an 89. 

Seniors LeeAnn Maruna (Grand Valley / Orwell) and Morgan Brumenschenkel (Shelby / Shelby) both in the field as individuals shot an 89 and 92 respectively. 

The tournament finishes with 18 holes on Sunday
