Women's Golf: Mount Union Finishes Fall With Second Place Finish

CANTON, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's golf team finished second after posting a score of 343 at Brookside Country Club in Canton for the Phipps Memorial Tournament. Walsh won the tournament with a score of 337.

Senior Allison Pastor (Sagamore Hills/Nordonia) and freshman Emma Jeffries (Wooster/Wooster) shot 84 and 85 while finishing fifth and sixth respectively to lead the Purple Raiders.

Posting a seventh place finish was sophomore Morgan Stubbendieck (Akron/Hoban) after shooting an 86 while senior Olivia DeMartino (Canfield/Canfield) shot an 88 in a tie for 11th. Rounding out the five for the Raiders was senior Hannah Edwards (Wellsville/Beaver Local) who shot a 99 which tied for 21st overall.

The Phipps Memorial Tournament marked the end of the fall season for the Raiders.
