Women's Golf: Raiders Continue Winning Ways to Kick-Off Spring

ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's golf team won the Mount Union Spring Invitational by 30 strokes as they shot 333 to open the spring season at Tannenahuf Golf Club in Alliance.

This is the Raiders sixth in in seven events including the fall. 

Westminster came in second with a 363 followed up by John Carroll shooting a 365 and Baldwin Wallace placing fourth with a 392.

The Purple Raiders were led by senior Olivia DeMartino (Canfield) who was the medalist as she shot a 78 on the day. 

Senior Allison Pastor (Sagamore Hills/Nordonia) came in third overall as she posted an 81 followed by sophomore Morgan Stubbendieck (Akron/Hoban) and freshman Emma Jeffries (Wooster) who tied for fourth with an 86. 

Rounding out the five for the Raiders was sophomore Rachel Markle (Solon) who tied for seventh shooting a 90.
