WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's golf team shot 338 on day two which dropped them back to a tie for third place with Capital with a 681 total after day two of the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships Saturday at River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette.
Just nine shots separate first place from fourth place as Otterbein holds the lead with a 672 total score(348+324).
Senior Allison Pastor (Sagamore Hills/Nordonia) followed up her 83 on Friday with an 81 on Saturday to put her in third place. Fellow senior Olivia DeMartino (Canfield) had a three shot improvement on day two as she followed her 86 from Friday with an 83 Saturday as she holds a tie for eighth.
After an 84 on Friday, sophomore Rachel Markle (Solon) posted an 87 on Saturday to place her in a tie for 13th.
Sophomore Morgan Stubbendieck (Akron/Hoban) boasted a five shot improvement from day one as she posted an 87 on day two which holds her in a tie for 23rd. Rounding out the five for the Raiders was freshman Emma Jeffries (Wooster) as she followed up her 90 yesterday with a 91 on day two to put her in a tie for 26th.
The OAC Championships from River Greens will conclude on Sunday, April 22 with the first tee times beginning at 10 a.m.
