JEROMESVILLE, Ohio--Mount Union's women's golf team sits in sixth after day one of the Wooster Spring Invitational shooting a 345 on Saturday at Mohican Hills Golf Club.
Leading the way for the Purple Raiders after day one was sophomore Emma Jeffries (Wooster) who carded a round score of 84.
Junior Morgan Stubbendieck (Akron / Hoban) finished two strokes behind Jeffries recording an 86. Fellow classmate Rachel Markle (Solon) concluded the day with an 87 while junior Erica Mawhorr (Zanesville / West Muskingum) and sophomore Brianna Potts (Apple Creek / Waynedale) rounded out the Mount Union scorecard with an 88 and 97 respectively.
The Raiders finish up the Wooster Spring Invitational tomorrow, April 14 at Mohican Hills Golf Club.
