Women's Golf: Mount Union First After Day One Of OAC Championship

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's golf team leads after the first round of the 2019 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships Saturday at River Greens Golf Club in West Lafayette, Ohio.

The first round was rained out on Friday so players played 18 holes Saturday and nine holes of round two. Round two will be completed Sunday morning at 9 a.m. then immediately followed by the final 18 holes of the tournament.

The Purple Raiders carded a team score of 339 which is five strokes ahead of second place Otterbein while third place Capital is 10 shots back.

Mogan Stubbendieck (Akron / Hoban) had an 82, Brianna Potts (Apple Creek / Waynedale) had an 83, Rachel Markle (Solon) had an 84 and Emma Jeffries (Wooster) had a 90 for the Mount Union team score.
