Women's Golf: Mount Union Second After Day One of JCU Invite

HUDSON, Ohio - Mount Union's women's golf team shot a 345 to put them in second place after day one at the John Carroll Invitational at Hudson Country Club.

The Purple Raiders were led by junior Emma Jeffries (Wooster) who carded a team-high 85. One stroke behind Jeffries, was senior Rachel Markle (Solon) who shot an 86, while the rest of the team score came from junior Brianna Potts (Applecreek / Waynedale) and sophomore Maura Knox (Stow) who both shot 87. 

The tournament concludes Sunday, September 15 with 18 holes.
