GAME PREVIEW: Women’s Lacrosse Hosts Hiram

Mount Union's women's lacrosse team looks to extend their winning streak to three as they host Hiram Tuesday, March 19th at 5:00 PM.

The Purple Raiders (2-1) enter the game after winning Saturday, March 9th at home as they beat Franciscan in the programs first shutout 21-0. The Raiders were led by freshman Susie Kraus (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) as she tallied seven points in the game with five goals and two assists. Kraus is tied with points (12) and is second on the team in scoring with seven goals on the season. 

Freshman Emily Bergert (North Canton/Hoover) tallied five points for the Raiders as she scored four goals and one assist, she leads the Raiders in goals (10) and is tied with points (12).

Hiram (2-2) enters Tuesday evening with winning a close game, 5-4 on Saturday, March 16th against Houghton (NY). The Terriers were led by Allison Spitz as she tallied two points in the victory scoring the game winning goal with 52 second remaining. She leads the Terriers on the season with goals scored with six goals on the season. 

Mount Union hosts Ohio Wesleyan Saturday, March 23rd at 1:00 pm in Mount Union Stadium.
