GAME PREVIEW: Women's Lacrosse Takes Weekend Trip To Michigan

Mount Union's women's lacrosse team heads to the "state up North" to take on a pair of Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association teams playing Saturday, April 6 at 5 pm at Olivet and Sunday, April 7 at 1 pm at Albion.

The Purple Raiders (6-1) enters the weekend on a six game win streak including a win last Saturday, March 30th against Olivet 18-2 in Mount Union Stadium. The Raiders were led by freshman Susie Kraus (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) as she tallied seven points in the victory with three goals and four assists.

Olivet Comets (2-3) enter the game Saturday dropping their last two games to Mount Union and one to Albion on Thursday, April 4th in Albion, Michigan 13-9. The Comets were led by Geri Merrell who tallied five points on five goals in the loss to Albion. The Britons (5-3) enter on a three game win streak including the win over Olivet as they were led by Ashley Glenn who tallied six points on six goals. 

Mount Union travels to Waynesburg (Pa.) on Saturday, April 13th at 1:00 pm.
