Raiders Host Hilbert For 2013 Season Finale
Mount Union women's lacrosse team (12-1) hosts Hilbert (NY) (2-7) in the 2013 season finale Saturday, April 27th at 7:30 pm. The Purple Raiders look to extend their win streak to 13 games as they close out their inaugural season at home. The Raiders take on the Hawks with having the number one scoring defense and scoring offense in NCAA Division III (April 21st).

Stone Leads Raiders Over Baldwin Wallace
Eight different players accounted for Mount Union's 19 goals in the Raiders' 17-goal win over Baldwin Wallace on Tuesday, April 23rd in Berea, Ohio. Of the eight Raiders, freshman Kendyl Stone (Brunswick/Brunswick) finished the game with five points leading all Raiders in scoring with four goals and had one assist.

Freshman Emily Bergert (North Canton/Hoover) scored three goals to finish with three points as the remaining six freshman players all recorded a multi-goal game as well with two goals apiece from Taylor Pensyl (Kent/Kent Roosevelt), Shawney Hamilton (Kent/Kent Roosevelt), Kolbie Haines (Hudson/Hudson), Kelsey Shewbridge (Medina/Medina), Ashley Christensen (Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park) and Susie Kraus (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley).

The Raiders recorded another win with two players recording a hat-trick, Stone and Bergert. The two hat-tricks on April 23rd marked the fourth time in 13 games that the team has had only two players or fewer score hat-tricks. 

Raiders Streaks
The win-streak for the Raiders was extended to 12 games after a 19-2 victory at BW. Mount Union continues to outscore their opponents 238-42 on the season, with two consecutive shut-outs in the win streak, March 9th vs Franciscan and March 19th vs Hiram,  the Raiders look to end the season on a 13 game win streak.

The hat-trick streak for Mount Union continues as they had two players' record hat-tricks in their win at Baldwin Wallace. Mount Union has recorded a victory when two or more players score hat-tricks in a game for the Raiders going into Saturday's game. The only loss this season for the Raiders is the first game of program history when they fell 8-7 to Oberlin on March 2nd with no players scoring a hat-trick. 

Bergert  and Stone lead the team in number of games with a goal, at 13 games. The two have scored in each game of the season combining for a season total of 59 goals. Bergert is tied for second, with Pensyl, for longest streak of multi-goal games with 11 games just one game shy of Kraus who leads the team with 12 multi-goal games. Kraus holds the longest streak on the team of hat-tricks as she scored in seven consecutive games (March 26th-April 21st).

Hilbert enters the game Saturday after dropping their last game on April 20th to Houghton 14-13 in Hamburg, NY. 
The Hawks were led by Sarah Lorusso who tallied six points on five goals and one assist. 

On the season Lorusso leads the Hawks in combined points with 32 points as well as in goals with 25 and assists with seven. Lorusso leads the team in groundballs with 32 and draw-controls with 22.
