Women's Lacrosse: Mount Union Hosts DePauw (Ind.) for Season Home Opener

The Mount Union's women's lacrosse team will host DePauw University (Ind.) in Mount Union Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Game Preview:

Mount Union enters the matchup off a 9-8 win over Oberlin.

The Purple Raiders (2-2) were led by Katherine Doraty (Medina/Medina) with a game-high four goals while four other players chipped in goals in the effort. Nikki Bonaduce (Kennett Square, Pa. / Unionville) recorded five saves while Kolbie Haines (Hudson/Hudson) chipped in seven groundballs.

Doraty leads the team in goals (11), while Haines leads in groundballs (7). Bonaduce also has 20 saves for the season. 

Depauw enters the game off a 14-10 loss to North Central (Ill.). Maryclaire Heldring led the Tigers with two goals in the effort.

Emma Flynn leads the team in goals with eights while Emily Scinta leads in groundballs with 15. Liz Hawkins has recorded 24 saves in the Tigers' three games so far this season.
