Women's Lacrosse: Mount Union Opens OAC Play Monday at Muskingum

The Mount Union's women's lacrosse team will travel to Muskingum to open Ohio Athletic Conference play. The game is scheduled 5:00 p.m. in New Concord, Ohio.

What: Mount Union (3-2, 0-0 OAC) vs. Muskingum (2-2, 0-0 OAC) 

When: Monday, March 14, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.

Series: Mount Union leads the all-time series, 1-0. The last meeting between these two teams resulted in a 22-5 win for the Raiders (4/15/15).

Game Preview:

Mount Union enters the matchup off a 17-3 win over DePauw (Ind.).

The Purple Raiders, now 3-2, were led by Katherine Doraty (Medina/Medina) with a game-high five goals while six other Raiders contributed scores. 

Doraty leads the team in goals (16), while Haines leads in groundballs (2). Bonaduce also has 11 saves for the season. 

Muskingum enters the game off a 17-2 Greensboro (N.C.). Ashley Adams and Kayleigh Norvet each scored a goal for the Muskies in the effort.

Ashley Adams leads the Fighting Muskies with 11 goals and 16 groundballs for the season. Kate Shamel leads in saves with 36 for the season.
