Women's Lacrosse: Mount Union Hosts Wittenberg on Saturday

The Mount Union's women's lacrosse team will host Wittenberg University in Mount Union Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Mount Union enters the matchup off a 22-1 win over Muskingum.

Mount Union was led by Katherine Doraty (Medina/Medina), Ashley Bernardi(Medina/Medina), and Alex Camp (Walworth, N.Y. / Wayne Central) who all scored three goals each. Hannah Reimer (Lancaster, N.Y. / Lancaster) led the defensive effort with five groundballs.

Doraty leads the team in scoring with 19 goals so far this season. Taylor Pensyl (Kent/Kent Roosevelt) leads the team in groundballs (13) while Nikki Bonaduce (Kennett Square, Pa. / Unionville) leads in saves (11).

Wittenberg enters the matchup off a 20-6 win over Adrian (Mich.). Becca Joseph led the Tigers with five goals.

Joseph leads the team in scoring with 15 goals on the season. Carrie Kubasta leads the team in groundballs with 15 while Katie Rutter leads the team in saves with 23.
