Women's Lacrosse: Mount Union Travels To Denison For Regional Matchup

The Mount Union's women's lacrosse team will travel to Denison for a regional matchup. The game is scheduled for a 5:00 p.m.

What: Mount Union (6-3, 1-0 OAC) vs. Denison (4-4, 1-0 NCAC)

When: Wednesday April 6, 2016

Where: Deeds Field- Piper Stadium—Granville, Ohio

Series: Mount Union leads Denison in the all-time series, 1-0. The last meeting between these two teams resulted in a 17-11 win for the Raiders (3/22/15)

  • Denison—Amanda Daniels (28-16, third season)

Game Preview:

Mount Union enters the matchup off a 18-3 win over Allegheny (Pa.).

The Purple Raiders (6-3, 1-0 OAC) were led by Kolbie Haines (Hudson/Hudson) who scored a game-high five goals. Katherine Doraty chipped in two assists in the effort as well.

 

Denison enters the matchup off a 15-10 win over Wittenberg. Clare Ludlow and Lizzy Pellicane led the team with four goals each.

 

Up Next

Mount Union is back in action on Saturday, April 9th, when they travel to Ohio Northern. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start.
