ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Freshman Danielle Rohrman (Olney, Md./Sherwood) scored a career-high seven goals in the Mount Union women's lacrosse team's win over Ohio Athletic Conference opponent Muskingum University Saturday afternoon at Mount Union Stadium.
Along with her goals, Rohrman assisted three for a total of 10 points.
With the win, the Raiders improve to 9-3 overall and 4-1 in conference play, while Muskingum falls to 6-10 and 2-5 in the OAC.
The Raiders outscored Muskingum 9-0 in the first half. Rohrman got Mount Union on the board just under six minutes into the game and recorded her second goal at the 19:06 mark. Sophomore Ashley Bernardi (Medina/Medina) added three goals, while freshman Mackenzie Pensyl (Kent/Roosevelt) tabbed two.
Rohrman scored five of the Raiders' 11 second half goals to total seven in the game. Bernardi scored two additional goals in the half, while Pensyl added one. Muskingum's lone goal was scored by Ashley Adams.
Mount Union next travels to Berea, Ohio to play Baldwin Wallace in an OAC game on Wednesday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m.
