The University of Mount Union plays No. 1 ranked The College of New Jersey in a regional semifinal (round of 16) game in the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship Saturday, May 20 at 11:30 a.m. in Ewing, New Jersey.
The Purple Raiders (14-3) swept Ohio Athletic Conference regular season and tournament titles for a fourth straight year to claim the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Mount Union defeated Calvin (Mich.) 14-11 in an NCAA Second Round matchup.
In its fifth varsity season, the Raiders are making their fourth straight trip to the NCAA Tournament and have won at least one game in each NCAA post-season appearance.
Mount Union is one of 29 conference champions to automatically qualify for the 40-team NCAA Tournament.
The Lions (16-1) are in the tournament for a 31st year after winning the New Jersey Athletic Conference title.
TCNJ is in the regionals for a 17th straight year and have won a record 12 national titles.
The other half of the regional includes defending national champion and No. 8 ranked Middlebury (Vt.) against No. 19 ranked Brockport State (N.Y.).
The regional final is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday, May 21.
