Women's Lacrosse: Mount Union Named IWLCA Academic Honor Squad; Three Named to Honor Roll

GRAND LAKE, Colo. -- The University of Mount Union's women's lacrosse team was named an Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA). The Purple Raiders were one of 167 NCAA Division III squads to be recognized for having a team grade point average above 3.0.

Three juniors -- Ashley Bernardi, a Business Management major from Medina, Lisa Dalman, a Biology major from Champlin, Minn. and McKenna Tubbs, a Middle Childhood Education major from Stow were each named to the IWLCA Honor Roll.

To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. 

Mount Union went 17-1 in 2018 as the Raiders won their fifth straight Ohio Athletic Conference regular season and tournament title.
