Mount Union's women's lacrosse team is ranked No. 2 in this week's NCAA Mid South Regional Rankings.

The Purple Raiders, 14-1 overall and 7-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, have wins against Mid South teams ranked in No. 3 - a 9-7 win over Rhodes (Tenn.) and No. 5 - a 9-8 win over Kenyon. Mount Union's only loss on the season is an 11-9 defeat to Illinois Wesleyan, ranked No. 2 in the West region.

The Raiders will host a Mid South ranked team -- No. 7 Capital (10-4, 7-0 OAC) in its regular season finale on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mount Union Stadium. The winner will claim the OAC regular season title and the No. 1 seed in next week's OAC Tournament.
