Mount Union Wrestling to Host Three Events This Fall
The University of Mount Union wrestling team is offering something for everyone over the next few weeks – a fall wrestling clinic, an alumni reunion and a fall open house.
All former Mount Union wrestlers are invited to campus on October 23, for a special day of programming just for them. Along with all the other campus homecoming activities, wrestling will have a special pre-game tailgate in the Gulling Training Center parking lot from 11 am – 1:30 pm. They can then attend the football game (call 330-829-8224 to get game tickets) then after the game there will be a social at Chives (2355 South Union Ave. in Alliance).
The Fall Wrestling Clinic will be on Saturday, October 30, and is open to any wrestler in grades 7-12. The camp runs from 9 am – 12 pm and costs $10. Download a brochure here.
On Saturday, November 6, the Raiders will host a Fall Open House. The day will begin in the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex (MAAC) at 9 am with a tournament simulation as Mount Union prepares to open the season on November 13. After the open practice, a campus tour and lunch will conclude the programming.
