Corrected Scoring Gives #16 Mount Union OAC Wrestling Tournament Title; Raiders Win Five Weight Classes and Record 12th OAC Title
The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that there was an error in the team scores tabulated at the OAC Wrestling Championship and as a result No. 16 ranked Mount Union has won its record 12th OAC Wrestling Tournament title Saturday at Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio.
In corrected scoring, Mount Union edged regular season champion Ohio Northern by a single point (90 to 89). Heidelberg was in third place with 80.5 points, followed by John Carroll with 48 points while Muskingum 16.5 points and Baldwin-Wallace 13 points made up the rest of the six-team field.
