Regula, Rajcsak and Johnston NWCA Scholar All-Americans

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Mount Union has three wrestlers named to the National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-American list. Senior Jeremy Regula (Dundee/Claymont) and junior duo Nick Rajcsak (Stow/Stow) and Tyler Johnston (Lyndhurst/Brush) are part of 107 Division III grapplers named Scholar All-Americans.

Regula, a senior Early Childhood Education major from Dundee, finished the season with an overall record of 22-12 and completed the season with a 5-0 record in the Ohio Athletic Conference at 165-pounds.

Rajcsak, a junior History major from Stow, finished the season with a 28-12 overall record and complied an 2-2 record in the OAC at 197-pounds.

Johnston, a junior Athletic Training major from Lyndhurst, finished the season with an overall record of 24-16 and completed the OAC with an 3-2 record at 149-pounds.

Regula, Rajcsak and Johnston helped Mount Union finish the season tied for first in the OAC with a 4-1 record and an 8-3 overall record. The Raiders finished second at the NCAA Mideast Wrestling Regionals.
