No. 9 ranked Mount Union will have four wrestlers, the most since 2014-15, competing Friday and Saturday at the 2018 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships, at the Public Auditorium in Cleveland, Ohio.

Representing the Purple Raiders is Nick Mancini (Boardman/Boardman) at 125 pounds, Nolan Wochna (Brecksville/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) at 133, Michael McIntire (Wadsworth/St. Vincent-St. Mary) at 157 and Jairod James (Bedford/Bedford) at 174.

Mancini (24-2), Wochna (22-13), McIntire (30-6) and James (18-1) will all be making their national tournament debut after taking three second-places at regionals and a first place finish coming from James.  

Wochna and McIntire are both entering the tournament unseeded, as Mancini is the No. 8 seed at 125 and James the No. 2 seed at 174.

The tournament will be a two-day event and is a double-elimnation with 180 wrestlers in 10 weight classes; 18 wrestlers per class.
