MANHEIM, Pa. -- Mount Union's wrestling team has moved up to fourth in the nation in the second ranking of the season by the National Wrestling Coaches Association.
The Purple Raiders have four wrestlers in the individual rankings. Juniors Jordin James (Bedford) and Antwon Pugh (Fairlawn / Copley) are ranked No. 1 at 141 and 157 pounds respectively while junior Luke Hernandez (Nashport / Tri-Valley) is ranked No. 4 at 149 pounds and sophomore David Massey (Cuyahoga Falls / Woodridge) comes in at No. 10 at 133 pounds.
Mount Union next competes at its Ohio Athletic Conference dual meet opener Tuesday, November 19 against Muskingum at Timken Gymnasium in Alliance.
