Smith and Dick Named Academic All-OAC Women's Soccer

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio--Mount Union senior Jessica Smith (Willowick/Eastlake North) and junior Deirdre Dick (Mansfield/Crestview) were both selected Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer by the conference's 10 faculty athletics representatives.

It is the second straight year that each of them were named Academic All-OAC and they were also the only two players to start all 19 of Mount Union games this season.

Smith, a defender, is an early childhood education major with a 3.82 grade point average, while Dick is a forward that is a three-time All-OAC selection that was second on the team in scoring this season with four goals and eight points.
