Women's Soccer: Mount Union Leaves Grove City with a Loss

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Mount Union's women's soccer team (5-2) lost on the road today at Grove City (5-2) by a score of 4-0.

The Purple Raiders had their opportunites in the contest as they had 12 shots along with two corner kicks.  

The first goal of the game came in the 43rd minute off the foot of the Wolverines' Michaela Burke who ended up with two goals on the day.

The Wolverines did not wait long to add to their lead as they scored in the 47th and 50th minute from Katherine Jouzelos and Krista Heckman to make the score 3-0. The final goal of the game came in the 61st minute when Burke added her second goal of the game. 

The Raiders next game is Tuesday, September 26th against Wooster at 7:30 p.m. at Mount Union Stadium.
