Women's Soccer: Mount Union Falls to John Carroll at Home

ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's soccer team dropped to 10-5-1 overall and 4-3-1 in the conference after a 4-0 loss to John Carroll (9-5-2, 5-2-1) in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup Tuesday night at Mount Union Stadium

In the first half where John Carroll outshot the Purple Raiders 4-3, they also outscored the Raiders 1-0. The Blue Streaks scored the only goal of the first half in the 12th minute off the foot of Justin Fortsona on a corner kick from Lexie Keller.  

The second half was a similar story as John Carroll outshot the Raiders 9-2 and added three more goals. Jaclyn Audino scored the first two goals in the second half for the Blue Streaks in the 52nd and 74th minutes. To make the score 4-0, John Carroll scored on a breakaway goal from Bailey Fischer in the 85th minute. 

Mount Union will head to Otterbein this Saturday, October 28th at 1 p.m. to end their regular season.
