WOOSTER, Ohio -- Mount Union senior Taylor Harrison (New Philadelphia/New Philadelphia) set a new school record in the 200 IM to lead the women's swimming and diving team as they sit in seventh place after the first day of the Wooster Invitational at Wooster High School.
Harrison bested her own record with a time of 2:13.70 which was a ninth place finish in the event.
The other top performance of the day came from sophomore Courtney Gabel who placed seventh in the 50 Free with a time of 24.96.
Mount Union has 199 points and sits in seventh place and just 17 points behind sixth place Ohio Northern (216). NCAA Division II Edinboro (Pa.) leads the event with 485 points.
