Mount Union's Kolesar Named OAC Women's Swimmer of the Week

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio—Senior Alyson Kolesar (Stow/Stow-Munroe Falls) was named Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week on Monday.

Kolesar earns her second Women's Swimmer of the Week honor after winning a pair of events to help Mount Union defeat Florida Tech, 168-64, last week in Melbourne, Fla. Kolesar finished first in both the 50-yard freestyle (:26.66) and 100-yard freestyle (:58.26).

She also teamed with Taylor Harrison, Allison Davila, and Sarah Noble to take first in the 200-yard medley relay (2:00.77).

Mount Union will be action on Saturday when they take on defending OAC champion Ohio Northern in Ada.
