Women's Swimming and Diving: Raiders Sits in Ninth After Day One at Wooster Invite

WOOSTER, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team holds ninth place with a score of 147 after day one of Wooster Invitational on Thursday.

The Purple Raiders placed ninth in the 200-yard freestyle relay with members junior Elise Pichola (Rocky River) and freshmen Erika Drager (Berea/Berea-Midpark), Aurelia Incristi (Rockwall, Tex./Rockwall) and Lindsey Collins (Uniontown/Massillon Jackson) who recorded a time of 1:41.08. 

Incristi was also a member of the 400-yard medley relay team that swam a clocked time of 4:07.59.

Freshman McKenna Bishop (Hartville/Lake) swam a time of 2:40.67 in the mixed 200-yard breaststroke while freshman Tori Moran (Mentor) clocked a time of 1:09.09 in the mixed 100-yard backstroke time trials. 

Day two of the Wooster Invitational begins Friday morning with preliminaries at 11 a.m. with finals coming at 6 p.m
