Women's Swimming and Diving: Raiders Sit in Fourth Place After Day One of Wooster Invitational

WOOSTER, Ohio - Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team holds fourth place with a score of 270 after day one of the Wooster Invitational.

The Purple Raiders took sixth in the 200-yard freestyle relay with members sophomore Aurelia Incristi (Rockwall, Tex. / Rockwall), junior Maggie Gyurke (Bellevue / St. Mary Central Catholic), sophomore Lindsey Collins (Uniontown / Massillon Jackson), and senior Elise Pichola (Rocky River) clocking a time of 1:41.04.

Freshman Alexis Schuller (Middleburg Heights / Berea-Midpark) grabbed sixth place in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:25.14, while sophomore Callie Landry (Broussard, La. / Teurlings Catholic) took ninth with a 5:20.11.

The 400-yard medley relay team of Collins, Pichola, Gyurke, and Schuller took eighth place clocking a time of 4:12.70.

Day two of the Wooster Invitational continues Friday morning with preliminaries starting at 10 a.m.
