Women's Swimming and Diving: Mount Union Sits in Second Place After Day One; Incristi Picks Up First Place Win

AKRON, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team stands in second place after day one the 2020 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships at Ocasak Natatorium at The University of Akron.

The Purple Raiders have 163 points which is just a half point ahead of second place Baldwin Wallace. John Carroll leads the event with 261.5 points.

Sophomore Aurelia Incristi (Rockwall, Tex. / Rockwall) claimed Mount Union's first conference title in the 50-yard freestyle since 2013 and earned All-OAC honors with a time of 23.88.

Fellow sophomore Callie Landry (Broussard, La. / Teurlings Catholic) also nabbed All-OAC honors with a third place finish in the 500-yard freestyle clocking in at 5:14.67.

Day two of the OAC Championships continue tomorrow Friday, Feb. 14 with preliminaries starting 10 a.m.
