Women's Swimming and Diving: Raiders Take Second at OAC Championship

AKRON, Ohio – The Mount Union women's swimming and diving team finished in second place at the 2020 Ohio Athletic Conference Championship held at the University of Akron with a score of 594.

Leading the Purple Raiders was freshman Alexis Schuller (Middleburg Heights / Berea-Midpark) and sophomore Aurelia Incristi (Rockwall, Tex. / Rockwall), both with second place finishes and All-OAC honors.

Schuller grabbed second in the 1650-yard freestyle swimming a time of 18:15.68.

Incristi placed second in the 100-yard freestyle clocking a 53.42.

Junior Sarah Hrycyk (Massillon / Jackson) took home All-OAC honors for the third time placing second in the 1-meter diving event with a score of 340.70.

This concludes the 2019-2020 swimming and diving season, the Raiders will return to the pool in November 2020.
