Women's Tennis Travels To Baldwin Wallace Saturday

Mount Union's women's tennis team travels to Berea, Ohio to face Baldwin Wallace in an Ohio Athletic Conference tennis match Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. 

Mount Union enters Saturday's match with a 7-4 overall record and is 1-1 in the OAC.  The Purple Raiders fell 6-3 in their last match to Otterbein in Westerville, Ohio. 

On the season, the Raiders have a combined singles record of 38-28 and a combined doubles record of 19-14. 

Sophomore MacKenzie Jenkins (North Hampton/Northwestern) leads the team with an 8-3 singles record while the doubles paring of junior Lauren Olivier (Chagrin Falls/Walsh Jesuit) and sophomore Taylor Dowling (Canton/Massillon Jackson) lead the team with a 6-2 doubles record. 

Baldwin Wallace enters Saturday's match with a 4-7 overall record and is 1-0 in the conference. The Yellow Jackets defeated Muskingum 9-0 in their last match. 

On the season, the Jackets have a combined singles record of 38-67 and a combined doubles record of 17-36. 

Kelsey Blatt leads the Yellow Jackets with a 8-8 singles record while the pairings of Blatt and Rebecca Mittler and Mackenzie Donalson and Whitney Yoder lead with six doubles victories on the season. 

Last season, Mount Union defeated Baldwin Wallace in both matches, 5-4 in the regular season and 5-1 in the quarterfinals of the OAC tournament.
